GIVE BRAIN CANCER THE BOOT
Welcome to Kicking Goals for Brain Cancer, a Robert Connor Dawes Initiative. We are dedicated to raising funds and awareness for kids with brain cancer. This year, we are thrilled to invite all sporting clubs to join us in this important cause.
Brain cancer is the #1 disease killer of young people in Australia. By supporting Kicking Goals for Brain Cancer, you can help make a real difference in the lives of children and families affected by this terrible disease. Funds raised to go towards research, care and development projects.
You can get involved by making a donation to your club or team, buy a beanie, or a pair of footy socks.
Q & A WITH HANNAH PRIEST,
We met with RCD Ambassador, AFLW Player and Captain of The Saints ahead of our Kicking Goals for Brain Cancer Round. Hannah shares her story to the AFLW, why she is passionate about being an RCD Ambassador and given back to the community, as well as some tips for young girls looking to make it to the AFLW. You can watch the interview here
Kicking Goals for Brain Cancer
As the SMJFL’s charity partner we’re thrilled the league has been supporting brain matters for the past six years.
This year the SMJFL Kicking Goals for Brain Cancer round is July 30, Round 12.
Thanks to all the generous players, coaches, team managers, goal umpires, runners, trainers and supporters who have helped us raise over $100,000 since 2017.
SMJFL has been a huge supporter of our foundation and is very close to our heart, with both Connor’s brother and sister playing throughout their childhood years.
Help us to continue to raise funds by using our FUNdraising resources available:
