Connor's Yoga
Move the body and heal the mind with yoga
Do your body, mind and soul a favour and join Robert Connor Dawes Foundation for a mindful and relaxing yoga practice with Patricia Algeri. This will be a recorded session, available to purchase as an individual or group - for schools and workplaces.
Connor's Yoga is one of the many ways you can Go Grey In May, to raise much needed funds for paediatric brain cancer research, care and development projects.
The Robert Connor Dawes Foundation was created in June 2013 in memory of Robert Connor Dawes. During Connor’s treatment for a brain tumour, he had weekly sessions of yoga therapy with Patricia. The gentle power of yoga to connect movement, mindfulness and deep relaxation quietly strengthened Connor’s body, relaxed his beautiful mind and nourished his strong spirit.
Patricia will also lead us through the same “I will…” affirmation process she did with Connor, which led to his affirmation of “I will be….awesome”. Join us to be awesome too! All levels and abilities welcome.
Go Grey in May is a time for the young and young at heart to participate in fun, awareness-raising activities that raise much needed funds for paediatric brain cancer: the #1 disease killer of young Australians. Going Grey is about celebrating the brains that make us who we are, all while supporting kids and their families affected by brain cancer.
