How do I kick off my fundraising?
Here’s a couple of simple steps to get your fundraising started:
- Lead by example: Be the first to donate to your fundraising page
- Spread the word: Share your fundraising page on your social media (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram) via email, text, or a good old conversation with your friends, family and workmates can be a great way to ask for support.
What is an In Memory fundraising page?
The Robert Connor Dawes Foundation enables you to create an online In Memory page to honour the memory of a loved one who has passed. You can add your own text and imagery, and you may wish to use this page to accept online donations to the Robert Connor Dawes Foundation in lieu of gifts or flowers.
Where does the money go?
We're able to put 100% of our tax deductible donations directly into funding paediatric brain cancer projects in the areas of research, care, and development. Read more about what we're funding here: https://rcdfoundation.org/impact/
Are donations tax deductible?
The Robert Connor Dawes Foundation is a registered charity with DGR 1 status in Australia and 501c3 status in the United States. This means that donations are tax deductible. When you make a donation via our giving platform you will receive a tax receipt. Please reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org if you need a copy.
