My May birthday for Beth

Last year my daughter Bethany was diagnosed with a benign brain tumour, lots of surgeries and chemotherapy followed. 
This charity supported her throughout with a music grant and the gift of a Happi drum, as during her time in hospital she found some joy with the one there.

I just want to say the biggest Thank you to everyone that has viewed, shared or donated to this amazing cause. 
When Beth and I talked about setting up this fundraising page we did not expect the amount of support we have received. 
In only 10 days you amazing people have doubled our initial goal. 
So we are sending a heartfelt thank you to you all ❤️❤️🥰

My reason

Friday 3rd May
I thought I would add a little more to why this fundraiser is important to me. 
In February 2023, my daughter complained about having a really bad headache, nothing seemed to make a difference. So a quick visit to the optometrist who happened to notice something strange with her optic nerve. 
That lead to a long drive to Monash Children’s hospital, it was there they diagnosed her with a benign brain tumour. 
So 4 days after having a headache she was having brain surgery. 
During the 6 weeks we were at hospital- 3 hours away from her friends and family Beth found joy with her music therapy in the shape of a Hapi drum. When she was discharged the music therapist nominated her for a music grant with the RCD foundation. This amazing foundation worked so hard and managed to get her her very own Hapi drum. 
Hopefully the money raised by us will assist them in bringing joy to other kids in this situation.
