ROBERT CONNOR DAWES FOUNDATION
GivingTuesday
This year, the Robert Connor Dawes (RCD) Foundation is taking part in GivingTuesday.
Brain cancer is the most fatal of all childhood cancers. Current clinical treatments only help 50% of children, but leave 90% with lifelong physical and mental impairments.
Every donation made this giving season will make a difference to young people with brain cancer.
Georgia's Story
Georgia spent most of her life in and out of hospital battling an ependymoma brain tumour. She had over six major brain surgeries that left her with deficits such as facial palsy, balance issues and needing a tracheostomy for close to a year. There was also countless chemo drugs that made her terribly sick, and radiation therapy which kept her out of school and doing things she adored.
Tragically, Georgia passed away on the 4th September, 2022, at just seven years old after battling brain cancer for 5.5 years. Her family and local community are working tirelessly to raise funds and awareness for paediatric brain cancer.
Every single donation counts, please help us change the odds for children with brain cancer by making a donation below.
